an artcar machine let loose these amazing smoke rings that hovered across the playa. I felt inspired to make art, as these shapes are part of my thesis.

The sky was amazing colors -- but the reason for this, is that I was 1 block from the teeter totter of death... which put each person @2-3 stories in the air... and I would exit my tent and look out and see yet another random person hovering in mid-air.

The department of tethered aviation's kite flying day. -- this being a flat and windy place.. it made for a good time with the kites which they gave out for people to use.

Starwheel~ This was a strange lumbering 3 person pedal powered thing... it lumbered like a condemned amusement park ride. apparently there was some issues about weight discrepency... that everyone had to be the same weight or it would not go... and that you spent some time out on the playa waiting for someone your size to show up... but then it could just be playa rumor.
